Exercise

Exercise helps make your body fitter, strong and more flexible. It also protects your heart and bones, keeps your body weight at an optimal level, reduces stress as well as making you feel good. On top of that, it reduces the risk of several illnesses including heat disease, stroke and diabetes.

Experts recommend exercising for at least half an hour, five days a week. You will know you’re doing alright when you can feel yourself breathing a bit harder and faster with your pulse beating faster than usual.

It doesn’t always have to involve the gym either. Cycling, running, swimming and even walking are all simple, easily accessible and convenient ways to get a daily healthy dose of exercise.

It really doesn’t matter what or where you do it – regular activity is what’s important. Just pick something that you enjoy: if it feels like an absolute chore, then you ain’t going to do it.
